How to Join:
To become a member of the Your Choice Federal Credit Union, you or a family member must work for one of the companies listed below, an application for membership must be completed, and a minimum share deposit of $50.00 or a $5.00 minimum deposit if you signup for Payroll deductions.

If you have any questions, please contact the credit union at (814) 946-1293. The business hours are Monday through Thursday, from 9:00am to 4:30pm, and Friday from 9:30am to 5:30pm.

Important information about procedures for opening a new account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you
When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or photo id and other identifying documents.

Credit Union History
On September 18, 1957, our credit union was chartered. The first name of the credit union was Altoona Bell Federal Credit Union with membership of Bell Telephone employees. In 1965, we merged with Penelec Eastern Division Federal Credit Union. Our name changed to Bell-Penelec Federal Credit Union. We merged with two others unions 1981 F.L. Smithe Employees Federal Credit Union and in 1987 merged with the Altoona City Employees Federal Credit Union. In 2002, we made the decision to change our name to Member First Federal Credit Union. In November 2003, we became Your Choice Federal Credit Union. To date, we have grown to a membership of over 1600 people with assets of over 7 million dollars.
